About the Workshop

The recent development of 5G technology has emerged as a hopeful solution for the rapid growth of global mobile data. In this context, mm-wave communications range is one of the most promising solutions. Indeed, the shorter wavelengths at the mm-wave band allow for the deployment of a large number of antenna elements in a small area, which enables mm-wave systems to potentially support higher degrees of beam-forming gain and multiplexing. Therefore, nowadays beam-forming network along with reconfigurability is one of the prime areas of targeted research among antenna engineers. Advancements in current technology along with simulation techniques & proper characterization forms the base for new designs for antennas. This workshop will provide in-depth technical aspects of areas in a short span of time.
